We Plant a Tree with EVERY order.

From the 1st February 24' Tipping Skips Ltd will plant at least one tree with every order of tipping skips or forklift attachments. It's our first step but an important one.

It's not just tipping skips. Or trees*.

If you purchase any equipment from TippingSkips.co.uk then we have committed to planting trees to help offset the equipment you need to keep working. When an order is placed you will receive confirmation of how many trees you have planted at no extra cost to you which can be used that in your NetZero policy.

*We also plant Mangroves as they are massive carbon sinks. They also help preserve the health of local aquatic ecosystems, such as nearby coral and three quarters of all tropical fish species are born within their roots.

“We wanted to help companies offset the use of necessary equipment.”

Frequently asked questions

When will my tree be planted?

This varies from location to location depending on a number of factors; for example the time of year, weather cycles and climate. Most trees are planted during the rainy season in order to maximise the success of their survival.

Why do you not plant locally?

Although the UK and Europe have lost half their original forests, and there is no doubt these forests need to be replaced, there is scientific evidence that planting forests nearer the equator has the greatest cooling effect on the planet.

We are exploring the possibility of expanding into local planting projects in the future.

Do you plant from seeds or saplings?

This depends on the tree and the country we are planting in. The majority are grown from seeds in nurseries until they reach either seedling or sapling size. They are then transported and planted during the rainy season.

Mangroves however are planted directly from propugales.
