FAQs

What is a Teleskip?

A Teleskip is a telehandler skip that auto-locks onto the forks — when you drive the forks in and lift, the locking mechanism engages automatically. This eliminates the need for manual chains or leverage.
How does the auto-locking mechanism work?

The Teleskip uses gas-strut-assisted locking that engages from behind the fork heels once raised. The operator stays safely in the cab during lift and emptying.
What sizes / capacities are available?
Different sizes are available ranging from a 500L version through to 1,750L.
What is the Safe Working Load (SWL)?
Typical models are rated with an SWL of 2,000 kg (2 tonnes).
What are the main safety features?
  • Automatic locking (no need for safety chains).
  • Reinforced, triangulated top edge for impact resistance.
  • Reinforced fork-tunnels (with thick steel at the entry) to prevent damage.
Can the Teleskip be stacked for storage?
Yes - the design allows skips to be stacked, helping you optimise storage on site.
Is the body leak-proof?
Yes - the body is fully welded to prevent leakage.
Does the Teleskip comply with safety regulations?
Yes, it is designed with health and safety in mind - e.g. the spec sheet states inspection should be done under PUWER, not LOLER, which is relevant for its safe use.
